Why does this cost less than PPI or School of PE?+
PPI and School of PE sell full courses with video lectures and live classes, and price them that way; PPI's self-study Learning Hub starts at $149 a month. PECivilClick is a practice platform: a large question bank for your discipline with a worked solution for every problem, unlimited full-length CBT exams, an AI tutor and, for FE Civil, 77 written lessons. We do not offer video lectures or live classes, and that is most of the price difference.
What does the Pass Guarantee actually cover?+
On the 3-, 6- and 12-month plans: if you work through the study plan PECivilClick builds for your exam date, sit the FE and don't pass, we extend your subscription free of charge until you pass. Email info@pecivilclick.com with your NCEES result and we apply the extension, usually within 24 hours on business days. It is an extension, not a refund, and the short terms are published in full.
How does the 7-day free trial work?+
Sign up with any plan and get full platform access for 7 days at no charge — every feature unlocked, no "lite" version. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be billed. If you continue, your selected plan starts and you keep all your progress.
What does failing the FE actually cost?+
$225 to NCEES for the retake fee. Plus the wait: NCEES allows one attempt per testing window and at most three in 12 months, so you sit again in a later window. Plus the indirect cost: every month before you're EIT is a month before you can start the 4-year clock toward your PE license. Most candidates we talk to estimate the real cost at $1,000+ when you factor in delayed career moves.
Is the platform the same across all 4 plans?+
Nearly identical. Every plan includes the full platform: CBT simulator, AI tutor (up to 10 questions a day), your discipline's complete question bank (1,150+ for FE Civil, 1,500+ for FE Mechanical or 1,200+ for FE Electrical), analytics and flashcards. The Pass Guarantee is included with the 3-, 6- and 12-month plans. Access windows: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
Which plan should I pick?+
If your exam is one to three months away, we recommend the 3-Month plan: it fits the typical two-to-four-month prep, includes the Pass Guarantee and works out to $30 a month. Pick 1 month for a last-minute review, 6 months ($20 a month) if you are studying alongside school or work, or 12 months ($15.83 a month, the lowest monthly cost) for an early start or a retake.
Civil, Mechanical and Electrical — same price?+
Yes, same price — but different question banks. You pick your discipline at signup and get 1,150+ FE Civil questions, 1,500+ FE Mechanical questions or 1,200+ FE Electrical questions, depending on which exam you're taking. Discipline-specific, not recycled.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your account settings in two clicks — no calls, no chat with a "retention specialist," no friction. Your access continues until the end of your current paid period. Zero cancellation fees.
Do you offer refunds?+
No. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with full access, and you can cancel in two clicks before the trial ends and pay nothing. Once the trial converts into a paid period, that payment is final and non-refundable; you can still cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. The Pass Guarantee (3-, 6- and 12-month plans) extends your access free of charge if you sit the exam and do not pass — it is an extension, not a refund.
Is payment secure?+
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe (the payment processor for Amazon, Shopify, and most of the modern web) with bank-grade encryption. We never see or store your full card details. Account data is encrypted at rest and never sold or shared with third parties.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes. Upgrade or extend at any time from your account dashboard — your progress, bookmarks, and analytics carry over seamlessly. No need to start over.
